I used to be a nerd, until Wikipedia and Google came along.
Back in the late 90's when the internet was only 25k, Google was a library pass and Wikipedia was a discussion between fellow nerds. Accuracy of dates, equation solving, flaws in sci-fi films and programs among other topics were points of research. Endless hours were invested to prove each other wrong. Now with Google and Wiki, anyone can make comment or support an "idea" with the push of a button, even if they're wrong. I have read many replies in posts where a person wiki or Google something to support their views or ideas, even if the information is inaccurate.
Does anyone else miss the good old days?
